SMOOTH SAILING

I decided to go cruising so I can have some quality family time, fun,
good food, relaxation and to enjoy some site seeing on the East River. It was
called a Sunset Cruise but because we were boarding the yacht as the
sun was still high in the sky, I was prepared with all the essentials
needed for smooth sailing.  We are in the middle of Summer so my
outfit of choice was a cut-out top where the cut-outs act like built-in-air
conditioners.  Wearing cut-outs can be classy by showing just the right
amount of skin.  This top shows a few peeks of skin and I love
that its still covered up having a high neckline.  My other warm
weather staple was this black and white diagonally patterned
Maxi Skirt.  This skirt is very lightweight, anti-cling and cool
keeping it Summer perfect. Stripes are timelessly stylish and this
was perfect for the occasion as I try to stick to the “less is more
approach” for hot weather.

I couldn’t forget my hat, a Summer accessory that is a must.  You
can never go wrong when protecting your face from those UV rays.
Shading your face from the sun is an advise that never gets too old.
A hat also adds personality and even a touch to any look, from
swimsuit to dresses.  This panama style hat fits snug on my head
and is perfect for windy adventures such as cruising.  Take a look below.
